Probate administration

Probate Calculator.

The California Probate Code, Sections 10800 and following, sets forth a statutory fee schedule for attorney's and personal representatives (executor or administrator) for the administration of a decedent's estate. In cases that involve added complexity, the attorney and personal representative may request amounts above the standard fee if extraordinary services are performed.

Use the calculator below to estimate statutory Probate fees for the administration of estates valued over $184,500, but less than $25,000,000. For estates over $25,000,000, the court will determine a reasonable amount for fees.
